This is a full time permanent 2 point coordinator position commencing Term 1 2021. The Leader of Information Literacy and Digital Innovation has responsibility for the oversight of the Library Resource Centre, digital teaching and learning resources and the information literacy enhancement of students and staff and at the College. The ideal applicant has demonstrated experience in the leadership of innovative learning and the capacity to identify and develop sustainable partnerships with community and higher education stakeholders to improve outcomes and opportunities for students. Furthermore they are skilled and knowledgeable around the essential elements of advising, modelling, supporting and coaching teachers and working towards these at the Highly Accomplished Level.

<ul><li>Working in concert with the College Executive to give active leadership in contemporary learning practices that enhance student achievement and performance. </li><li>Capacity to enhance the ongoing development of differentiated pedagogy, authentic learning and assessment which is informed by evidence-based approaches and the skilled use of data. </li><li>Creating, implementing and evaluating Information Literacy programs that build student and staff capacity. <br />Promoting the Library Resource Centre as a vibrant &#39;hub&#39; of learning. This includes the flexible management of library HR to ensure optimal opening hours for students and scheduled special events. </li><li>Modelling highly effective professional learning in the transformative use of ICT to expand learning opportunities and content knowledge for all staff and students.</li><li>Leading the College reading strategy.</li><li>Managing key infrastructure in the flexible learning environment, including virtual and physical spaces.</li><li>Overseeing eLearning and BYOD plans. </li><li>Building the collective capacity of key stakeholders in the learning community to access, evaluate and create new knowledge</li></ul><p><br /></p>
