MacKillop Catholic College, Mount Peter has an exciting opportunity for a Leader - Student Engagement to commence in January 2021.

<p><b>POSITION DETAILS</b></p><ul><li>Full-Time Permanent Position </li><li>Fixed Term Leadership Position (2 years) </li><li>30 Hours Per week </li><li>Commencing: 16 January 2021 </li><li>Applications close 12pm, Friday 11 December 2020</li></ul><p><b>PURPOSE OF THE ROLE</b></p><p>The role of Leader – Student Engagement is to support the mission of the College through the enactment of the learning and teaching program. The applicant may be a qualified teacher, or have other suitable qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in the field. </p><p>The Leader – Student Engagement is expected to demonstrate excellence in the knowledge, understanding and research of their area, and will actively contribute to the holistic education offered at MacKillop Catholic College. </p><p>The role holder will report directly to the Principal or delegate as their Line Manager and work closely with the Deputy Principal Leader of Primary, Associate Principal Administration, Associate Principal Religious Education, Associate Principal Learning and Teaching, School Counsellors, Learning Support Teachers, and Indigenous Liaison Officer. This person will also work closely with parents/guardians, staff and students in the school community. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>MANDATORY QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS</b></p><ul><li>Professional qualifications in Education </li><li>Registered or eligible to register with Queensland College of Teachers </li><li>Willingness to achieve Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School and Accreditation to Teach Religion in a Catholic School (Teachers of Religious Education) </li><li>Willingness to support and participate in the prayer, liturgy and sacramental life of the Church in the school community </li><li>Promote child safety at all times </li><li>Capacity to understand and implement Duty of Care and Workplace Health and Safety requirements. </li><li>Current drivers licence </li><li>A strong demonstrated commitment to the objectives, vision and ethos of Catholic Education</li></ul>
