3 point Coordinator position with a 0.6FTE time allowance and 0.4FTE teaching load.

<p>The Executive Assistant is a member of the Marist Catholic College North Shore (MCCNS) Executive and shares responsibility for the Catholic identity of the College and spiritual and faith leadership within the College Community, informed by the charism of Saint Marcellin Champagnat as an expression of the Gospel message of Jesus. The Executive Assistant articulates the mission, ethos and educational goals of MCCNS, and gives witness to the distinctive educational, moral and social purpose of the College within the evangelising Mission of the Church. </p><p>The Executive Assistant is responsible for coordinating and managing a number of special projects consistent with the mission and values of MCCNS. A special project is a temporary process or endeavour which has a clearly defined start and end, a set of activities and tasks, a budget and a specified business case. It is undertaken to deliver a unique and well-defined product, service, goal or objective or to deliver well-defined benefits. </p><p>The Executive Assistant works closely with the Principal on specific projects identified by the Executive. The work of the Executive Assistant includes a broad range of complex technical and professional activities in a variety of contexts, at times requiring the management of a number of projects concurrently. For most projects the Executive Assistant will be responsible for developing project proposals and briefs, undertaking relevant research, developing and monitoring project budgets, schedules, deliverables and outcomes, preparing briefing papers and progress reports, undertaking risk assessments, gathering and analysing data and liaising and communicating with key stakeholders and the Senior Leadership Team. </p><p>The Executive Assistant ideally possesses or develops project management skills, pays attention to detail with demonstrated success in building and leading effective teams. The Executive Assistant has high-level oral and written communication and influencing skills and a demonstrated capacity for investigating, defining and resolving complex issues. The Executive Assistant also contributes to issue resolution and escalation, research and analysis and planning and monitoring activities. </p><p>In being both proactive and responsive to changes in the College’s operating environment, the Principal may, from time to time, require the performance of other duties. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>Closes: 3pm Wednesday 9/12/2020</b></p>
