<p>The Pastoral Care Coordinator shares with the Principal and College Leadership Team, the responsibility for providing quality Catholic education for the students in their care. They have overall responsibility for all aspects of the pastoral care of students and work in collaboration with the Year Coordinators.</p><p>As  a member of the College&#39;s Leadership Team, the Pastoral Care Coordinator shares in the responsibility for policy development and decision making in the light of the College&#39;s Mission Statement.<br /></p><p>Applicants should address the following essential criteria in a cover letter addressed to the Principal:</p><ul><li>a commitment to Catholic Education, a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools and a willingness to support the faith formation of students</li><li>able to facilitate dynamic and collaborative learning experiences</li><li>commitment to academic excellence</li><li>exemplary classroom practice, utilising a range of effective pedagogies</li><li>highly developed interpersonal skills demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents, students and staff</li><li>capable of empowering students to be independent and creative learners</li><li>ability to work strategically with the Pastoral and Leadership teams</li><li>experience in working in collaboration with students, their parents, teachers, staff and other support services to maximise student achievement, well-being and learning outcomes.</li></ul><p>A full position description is attached</p>
