<p>This position will work with Class Teachers to create an inclusive, supportive and creative learning environment for the class and in particular, children with disabilities.  The successful applicant must be flexible and willing to be deployed according to school needs.</p><ul><li>Experience working with children with disabilities essential, especially with children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).</li><li>Familiarity with characteristics and support strategies for children with symptoms of an ASD (diagnosed or undiagnosed).</li><li>Experience with observing and responding to sensory needs of children with sensory integration difficulties.</li><li>Experience with recording Behavior observations and working based on a Behavior Support Plan.</li><li>Experience with or readiness for adapting typical support strategies to the Waldorf philosophy.</li><li>Knowledge or Understanding of the Waldorf Curriculum</li><li>Ability to use initiative and to accept guidance and feedback</li><li>Good time management and personal organisational skills</li><li>Ability to find ways of meeting an individual’s needs that work<br /></li></ul><p>A full position description and key selection criteria is available for download on our website <a href="https://wws.sa.edu.au" rel="nofollow">https://wws.sa.edu.au</a></p>
