Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong (CEDoW) comprises 38 Catholic schools with more then 19,000 students enrolled across the Illawarra, Macarthur, Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands regions.

<p>The Director of Schools Diocese of Wollongong, invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced personnel for this permanent full time position with Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong (CEDoW) commencing 1 February 2021.</p> <p>The Catholic Education Office supports the system of Catholic schools throughout the Diocese of Wollongong. The Diocese boundaries incorporate the Sydney South West Growth Region, the Macarthur area, the Southern Highlands south to Moss Vale and the Illawarra coastal region from Helensburgh to Milton.</p> <p>The role of the Schools Properties Officer (Projects) is responsible to provide project management and asset management support to schools within the Diocese to ensure the development of appropriate learning environments to enhance learning and teaching, including:</p> <ul> <li>Providing consultation, support and advice to relevant stakeholders in relation to project management processes.</li> <li>Providing advice and&nbsp;coordination to school principals regarding upgrades and refurbishment.</li> <li>Ensuring compliance with appropriate standards and guidelines.</li> <li>Supporting the management of the facilities asset register database for each school, and</li> <li>Managing the procurement and contracts process</li> </ul> <p>ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA</p> <ul> <li>Current Drivers Licence,</li> <li>Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, facilities management or project management.</li> <li>Experience managing projects with circa. $10M budgets: <ul> <li>within the property, Facilities or related industry,</li> <li>leading the development of Business Cases and project briefs,</li> <li>management of multiple stakeholders, and&nbsp;</li> <li>management of multiple consultant and contractor contracts.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p>DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA</p> <ul> <li>Degree in a building related discipline, engineering, facilities management or project management.</li> </ul> <p>SALARY</p> <ul> <li>$110,402 per annum.</li> </ul> <p><em>The Catholic Education Office is an agency of the Catholic Church called to stewardship and service in support of the system of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Wollongong.
