Our mission therefore, is to create a school with an atmosphere that encourages us to adopt Christ.<br /> <br /> <strong>About the role</strong><br /> <br /> This is a permanent, full time position reporting to the College Principal. You will be responsible for the management of a multi-disciplined team including administrators, facilities staff, suppliers, trades and contractors. You will provide high level support and advice to the College Principal on all financial management matters. Main responsibilities include:</p> <ul dir="ltr"> <li>Manage and supervise all non-teaching support staff including their recruitment, professional development and performance management</li> <li>Manage the accounting functions including AP, AR, general ledger, bank reconciliations and asset management</li> <li>Prepare and oversee the budget in line with strategic priorities</li> <li>Manage and develop procurement practise, prepare quote specifications, tender documents and contracts</li> <li>Responsible for managing and maintaining College facilities including buildings, grounds, plant and equipment</li> <li>Ensure administrative processes align with best practice</li> <li>Oversee all WHS, security and insurance matters</li> <li>Work closely with Schools Office staff to develop system policies and procedures</li> <li>Oversee audit processes</li> </ul> <p><strong>About you</strong><br /> <br /> You will have tertiary qualifications in finance and/or business management and experience in managing the delivery of finance and administrative services, ideally in an education or NGO environment. You will be an innovative self-starter with experience managing a team. To be successful you will also:</p> <ul dir="ltr"> <li>Support the ethos of Catholic Education</li> <li>Have qualifications in finance and/or business management</li> <li>Have experience in the identification and deployment of asset management procedures and processes</li> <li>Have experience in current WHS requirements in line with current legislation</li> <li>Be an effective team leader and team member who is also happy to work independently</li> <li>Have highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport</li> <li>Have a consultative, collaborative and innovative approach</li> <li>Have superior written and oral communication skills</li> <li>Possess a high degree of initiative and creative problem solving skills</li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>The benefits</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">Work with a passionate and collaborative team as part of a system of schools delivering high quality Catholic education.
