<p>Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Learning Support Teachers for this full-time/permanent position with a negotiable Term 1 starting date. Applications should be sent to the Campus Principal (7-10), Mr Michael Hollis.</p><p>The Learning Support Teacher will have responsibility for supporting the Learning Support Coordinator in the management of Special Needs programs, inclusive of:<br /></p><ul><li>Assisting with the initial identification of students with learning support needs.</li><li>Assisting teachers with the development of learning goals and intervention programs, and curriculum differentiation.</li><li>Collaboratively designing, implementing, modifying and evaluating Individual Adjustment Plans (IAPs) with class teachers and other relevant people.</li><li>Working with students with Individual Adjustment Plans.</li><li>Contributing to the preparation of documentation required under legislation.</li><li>Potentially assisting as Indigenous Learning Support Officer on occasions.</li></ul><p>Applicants would need to:</p><ul><li>Be flexible and reliable;</li><li>Be able to work as part of a team.</li></ul><p>Applicants are required to undertake the Registration to Work process with Sydney Catholic Schools and hold a current Working With Children Check.<br /></p><p>Apply in writing with three professional referees, one of whom should be your current Principal. <br /></p><p>Please send your applications to: julie.jones&#64;syd.catholic.edu.au<br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>
