St Joseph’s High School, Aberdeen is seeking a temporary part time School Officer – Clerical (32.5 hours/week) to join the school community. St Joseph’s High School is a co-educational, year 7-12 school committed in partnership with the community to meeting the academic, social, physical and spiritual needs of its students. St Joseph’s promotes an authentic learning community with a rigorous and comprehensive academic curriculum encouraging high standards of education for every student. <p> In this position you will support St Joseph’s High School with various administrative duties such as: <br>• provide a highly professional and friendly first point of contact to all stakeholders and visitors to the School <br>• general office administration including maintaining student records, typing and preparation of documents, ordering of school requisites and administrative support for staff <br>• administrative support to the School Executive Team If you are passionate about providing exceptional customer and administrative service and you possess a friendly and enthusiastic disposition, then we invite you to come and join our Team and community. Diocesan workers are expected to personally adopt and enact the Diocese’s Safeguarding Commitment Statement. </p> <h3>Essential Criteria:</h3> <p> •Ability to articulate a clear understanding of and a personal commitment to Catholic Education and to actively supporting the Catholic ethos and culture of the school <br>•Excellent written communication skills and strong verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills. <br>•Demonstrated experience using initiative and self-motivation in the workplace. <br>•Demonstrated ability in accurately and proficiently performing a wide range of administration tasks. <br>•Intermediate experience and ability to work with various software packages, including Microsoft office programs <br>•Demonstrated capacity to organise, prioritise and multitask to meet various deadlines. <br>•An understanding and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. <br>•Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and be responsible and accountable for own work with the capacity and willingness to work in a team environment. <br>•Willingness to Comply or Compliance with the CSO Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead Policy. Category A – Accreditation to Teach (School Support Staff, CSO Administration Staff, CSO Professional Officers) The applicant must provide evidence of the following: <br>•Current Paid Working with Children Check (WWCC) number. <br>•Completion of Anaphylaxis training. </p> <h3>Desirable Criteria:</h3> <p> • Previous experience working in a similar role <br>• Knowledge and experience using COMPASS (School Management System) <br>• Provide First Aid Certificate </p> <h3>Renumeration:</h3> <p> Salary is in accordance with New South Wales &amp; Australian Capital Territory Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2020. </p> <h3>Additional Info:</h3> <p> To Apply: The covering letter attached to your curriculum vitae (full personal and contact details of referees) should address the criteria as outlined above.
