<p><b>The School</b></p><p>Ravenswood is a Uniting Church K-12 day and boarding school for girls located on Sydney’s North Shore. Ravenswood offers the HSC and the IB Diploma and PYP Programme. It is a school where students enjoy outstanding academic success supported by innovative teaching practices that are underpinned by a whole school approach to Positive Education. </p><p><b>The Position</b></p><p>We are seeking a motivated, experienced registered Psychologist to join our Wellbeing Team in a permanent full-time capacity during term time. You will work with our Psychologists, Year Coordinators, Head of Senior School and the Deputy Principal: Wellbeing, Boarding and Development, to support our students, parents, and teachers. </p><p>Our Psychologists are key members of the Wellbeing Team and provide counselling support to our students. </p><p><b>Essential criteria: </b></p><p>• Registration as a psychologist with AHPRA; </p><p>• Experience with CBT as well as a strong interest in positive psychology and related therapies; </p><p>• Familiarity with trauma informed interventions </p><p>• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team; </p><p>• Strong commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practice; </p><p>• Experience in providing quality evidence-based services for children, adolescents, and their parents. </p><p><b>Desirable criteria: </b></p><p>• Experience working with groups; </p><p>• Experience in staff training; </p><p>• Experience working with children and adolescents aged 5-18 years; </p><p>• Experience working in schools </p><p>• Endorsement in clinical or educational psychology is desirable; </p><p>• Minimum 3-5 years working as a psychologist. </p><p><b>Additional Skills/Requirements: </b></p><p>• Strong understanding/ experience working with young people and families of diverse cultural backgrounds; </p><p>• Ability to work with children and adolescents with disabilities or learning needs; </p><p>• Ability to administer and report psychometric assessment such as the WISC, WAIS and WIAT; </p><p>• Understanding of child protection legislation and guidelines as it applies to schools; </p><p>• Tertiary qualifications in Psychology; </p><p>• Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA); </p><p>• Eligibility for registration with Australian Psychological Society (APS). </p><p><b>To Apply: </b></p><p>Please include a cover letter addressing the selection criteria, additional skills and requirements along with your resume. </p><p>Ravenswood will begin to review applications prior to the application closure date.
