<p>Applications are invited from qualified and innovative personnel for the following full-time position commencing immediately or at a mutually convenient time: </p><p><b>Communications, Marketing and Events Assistant </b></p><p>This role offers an opportunity for someone with some experience to grow their ability and knowledge in the field of communications, promotions, content creation and editorial processes. Due to the diverse nature of a College environment, the role will also give the successful candidate the opportunity to gain experience in related fields, such as event planning, promotion and execution, and conservation or archiving of all significant resources created along the way. </p><p><b>The role of the Communications, Marketing and Events Assistant is to: </b></p><p>• administrative tasks, such as the creation and distribution of digital forms </p><p>• assisting with the set-up and upkeep of an extensive database for the College’s miscellaneous archives </p><p>• proofing documents before circulation </p><p>• assisting with the creation of written and creative content </p><p>• styling and formatting </p><p>• assisting with events and the creation of event materials </p><p>• additional assistance with various projects as needed </p><p><br /></p><p><b>The successful candidate will have: </b></p><p>• communications, editorial and/or marketing qualifications, or equivalent </p><p>• strong attention to detail </p><p>• proofreading ability </p><p>• a familiarity with social media platforms and analysis of their performance </p><p>• experience navigating CM/PM Systems </p><p>• experience using Microsoft Office software </p><p>• some experience with databases and their implementation </p><p>Experience using Adobe Create software would be considered an advantage, however not a requirement. </p><p><br /></p><p>This person will report to the Communications, Marketing and Events Manager, is expected to be supportive of the philosophy of Catholic education and must have a current:<br /></p><p>• Working With Children Check </p><p>• National Police Record Check form Victoria Police </p><p><br /></p><p>This position will be a Category A Education Support Officer and remunerated as per the Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2013. </p><p><b>Your application must contain: </b></p><p>• The prescribed Application for Employment Form </p><p>• Curriculum Vitae </p><p>The prescribed Application for Employment Form can be accessed via our webpage at <b>http://mackillopwerribee.com.au/information/employment/ </b></p><p><br /></p><p>These should be forwarded no later than <b>10am on Monday 15 March 2021</b> to: </p><h4>The Principal<br /> MacKillop College<br /> PO Box 522, WERRIBEE VIC, 3030<br /> Tel: (03) 8734 5200<br /> Email: employment&#64;mackillop.vic.edu.au </h4><p><br /></p><p><i>The MacKillop College community promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all ch</i>ildren. </p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
