The College is seeking an experienced psychologist/counsellor to provide child and adolescent psychological services and to work with staff to support students and families.

<p><b>THE COLLEGE</b></p><p>Santa Sabina College, established in 1894, is a Catholic Dominican independent day school for girls and boys up to Year 4 and girls and young women from Years 5-12. Inspired by St Dominic we strive to bring God’s loving kindness in Christ to all whom we meet and to all that we do. Located in Strathfield in Sydney’s multicultural Inner West, Santa Sabina College caters for more than 1300 students including infants to preschoolers in our Early Education Centre, Mary Bailey House; 330 boys and girls from Prep to Year 4 on the Del Monte campus; 150 girls in our newly established tween precinct, Gioia House; and over 700 young women on the secondary campus. The College is the only secondary Catholic girls’ school in NSW to own an outdoor education campus, Tallong situated on 97 hectares in the Southern Highlands.   </p><p>Santa Sabina College consistently ranks in the top 50 NSW schools in the HSC. An International Baccalaureate World School, the College offers the IB Diploma Programme for the Senior Years and primary students engage with the IB Primary Years Programme. Underpinned by a strong, nurturing pastoral program we are committed to developing strong, independent women ready to shake the world. </p><p><b>ROLE PURPOSE</b></p><p>The role of the College psychologist/counsellor is to provide child and adolescent psychological services and to work with staff to support students and families. The successful applicant will be required to work predominantly with younger children on the Primary campus (3 days a week) and then with adolescents on our Secondary Campus ( 2 days a week). The psychologists will be expected to utilise their expertise to support and build the capacity of the College community to maximise educational outcomes for all students. This position reports to the Principal or their delegate and is required to work in partnership in particular with the Head of Primary, Director of Students and Wellbeing, Head of Gioia House, as well as other leadership teams across campuses.
