<p>Trinity Lutheran College is a Kindergarten to Year 12 Christian co-educational college and an International Baccalaureate World School for the Primary Years Programme (PYP). Located in Ashmore on the beautiful Gold Coast, we offer a world class education for all students. </p><p>Trinity Lutheran College invites applications for the position of Educator for our Little Stars Early Learning Centre. The position is a fixed term position working until 31 December 2021. Applications are welcome for both part time and full-time positions, with the successful candidate commencing as soon as possible. </p><p>Key duties will include: </p><p>• Assisting with the documentation, planning and delivery of a high-quality early childhood education or school aged care program </p><p>• Fostering the well-being and development of all individuals associated with the service through the creation of a secure and supportive environment </p><p>• Working collaboratively as a member of a team with the Director to maintain the highest possible standards of care </p><p>• Participating in professional development opportunities, e.g. retreats, conferences and workshops presented by Queensland Lutheran Early Childhood Services (QLECS) and attend professional learning opportunities offered by the College </p><p>• Performing all duties in an ethical and transparent manner incorporating moral principles of honesty and trust declaring any conflict of interest that may arise </p><p>General selection criteria </p><p>• Experience with planning and implementing a high-quality educational program or willing to learn </p><p>• Experience with critical reflection, goal setting and quality improvement or willing to learn </p><p>• Interpersonal skills appropriate to establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with students and staff </p><p>• Experience working with the National Early Childhood legislation and National Quality Framework desirable </p><p>• Certificate III in Children’s Services (Diploma of Children’s Services will be highly regarded) </p><p>• An ability to work in a Christian context </p><p>• Current Suitability Card (Blue Card) or eligible to apply </p><p>• Current First Aid and CPR or ability to obtain </p><p>For further information please review the position description.
