<p>We are urgently seeking applications for a Food Preparer for our Early Learning Centre. No chef qualifications are required.  All you need to be able to do is provide healthy fresh, diverse and wholesome meals, catering for up to 44 children a day, aged 3-5 years, in a long day care centre which is open for 50 weeks of the year.</p><p>Essential Criteria:</p><ul><li>Experience in the preparation of meals and budgets; </li><li>Be able to work unsupervised and in close proximity with others; </li><li>Excellent time management skills; </li><li>Have good knowledge of food allergies, family/cultural preferences; </li><li>Have excellent written and verbal communication skills; </li><li>Have a great imagination, creative thinking and can do attitude especially when making healthy food look and taste delicious for young children; </li><li>Have an NT Working with Children Card or the ability to obtain one; </li><li>Have a current driver’s license; and, </li><li>Be residing in Australia. </li></ul><p>Desirable Criteria: </p><ul><li>An understanding of and a commitment to Catholic Education; </li><li>Willing to make positive contributions to the College and to support actively the Catholic ethos of the school; and,</li><li>A standard of health necessary to perform duties consistent with the role.</li></ul><p>Qualifications Required:</p><ul><li>Food Safety Training;</li><li>Food Allergy Training;</li><li>First Aid Certificate, including Anaphylaxis and Asthma training (HLTAOD004).</li></ul><p>Job Type: Permanent/Part Time – working 5 hours a day, Monday to Friday.  Previous applicants need not reapply please.</p><p>Position commences as soon as possible.<br /></p><p>Further information can be obtained by phoning 08 8950 6409.</p>
