<p>Our Lady of Mercy Catholic School is a co-educational Catholic school from Kindergarten to Grade 6 located in Deloraine with an enrolment of 100 students. </p><p>The school is seeking applications from suitably qualified, creative and dynamic teachers who are able to demonstrate a commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education for the following vacancy. </p><h4>Teacher: Performing Arts (Music and Drama)<br /> Ongoing: 0.4FTE<br /> Commencing week beginning 31 May 2021 </h4><p><br /></p><p>The Teacher: Performing Arts role is a critical component in the teaching and learning program at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic School. This program is a gem in the school community and integrates into the creative focus of the Deloraine Arts Community as a whole. </p><p>Students participate in the Deloraine Drama Festival each year and are active participants in all aspects of the production and the school boasts a long and proud history of choral singing. </p><p>Applicants will: </p><ul><li>Be committed to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education </li><li>Be able to articulate a commitment to learning and teaching </li><li>Be willing to participate fully in the life of the school </li><li>Have experience teaching in Performing Arts specialisation (Music and Drama) </li><li>Have appropriate graduate and/or post graduate qualifications. </li><li>Be a registered Teacher in Tasmania or be able to gain registration prior to the commencement of the position. </li></ul><p>We demonstrate our commitment to reconciliation by encouraging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to apply. </p><p>To download an Application Package and Application for Employment form click the attachments below.
