The Laboratory Assistant provides assistance in the form of support and assistance to teachers and students in a classroom setting or to individual students or groups of students

<p>The Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta is looking for a passionate and dedicated&nbsp; Casual Laboratory Assistant to provide support and assistance to our teachers.</p> <p>The Laboratory Assistant is accountable for:</p> <p>-Employees are required to support the mission, teachings and ethos of the Catholic Church’s work in schools.</p> <p>-Demonstrated ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team</p> <p>-Demonstrated ability to follow direction, prioritise and meet set deadlines</p> <p>-Demonstrated interpersonal skills in working with a range of personnel</p> <p>-Strong planning and organisation skills</p> <p>-Preparation of practical work for use in the classroom, including general and complex laboratory experiments</p> <p>-Preparing simple chemical solutions and, under instruction, more complicated<br>solutions</p> <p>-Developing and using appropriate storage systems, including for dangerous and toxic substances consistent with material safety data sheets</p> <p>Typical Experience and Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Appropriate demonstrated experience</li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">Applicants must be classified with the Catholic Education, Diocese of Parramatta and include 2 Referee contact details (including mobile) numbers in their application.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr"><span style="text-decoration: underline">Please email application to <a href="mailto:StColumbas@parra.catholic">StColumbas@parra.catholic.edu.au</a></span></p> <p dir="ltr">&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">The Organisation</p> <p dir="ltr">Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 83 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">This position involves working with children.
