At the heart of all we do are our core values of empathy, curiosity, excellence, collaboration and truth.<br /></p><p><b>About Our School:</b><br /></p><p>All Saints Catholic College is an important part of our SCS community.<br /></p><p>As a co-educational K-12 dual campus, our College has been formed by the amalgamation in 2019 of the three All Saints’ schools and was incorporated into a single K-12 school entity on two sites, Liverpool and Casula, at the beginning of this year.<br /></p><p>Whilst 2020 brought the dawn of a newly-named school community, Catholic education in the area has a long and rich history. Initially being overseen by the lay of the All Saints’ Parish, education changed with the introduction of the charisms of the Sisters of Charity and the Patrician Brothers. The community continues to be shaped by the work of these religious orders today.<br /></p><p><b>About You:</b><br /></p><p>We invite innovative educators to join our All Saints’ community casual team for Term 3. The preferred applicant demonstrates the following criteria:<br /></p><ul><li>a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic school within the broader Catholic Church</li><li>a commitment to academic excellence and a sound knowledge of contemporary approaches to pedagogy, including the nature of assessment and differentiated learning</li><li>commitment to a learning culture of shared responsibility for quality teaching and student learning growth, informed by data</li><li>an ability to lead learning and foster innovation and creativity in a collaborative environment</li><li>a working knowledge and understanding of education appropriate for the stage/s for which this role is responsible</li><li>a comprehensive understanding of NESA requirements</li><li>highly developed interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents, students and staff</li><li>the capacity to empower students to be independent and creative learners</li></ul><p><b>The following General Capabilities are applicable to the role:</b></p><ul><li>strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>ability to work collaboratively in a team environment</li><li>strong organisational skills</li><li>Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)</li><li>Sydney Catholic Schools’ employment number is desirable but not essential.</li></ul><p> Please send your applications to: <a href="mailto:julie.jones&#64;syd.catholic.edu.au" rel="nofollow">julie.jones&#64;syd.catholic.edu.au</a> and should include a cover letter and resume including three referees who may be contacted as part of the shortlisting process.
