<p>Marist Catholic College North Shore, a Coeducational K-12 Catholic Secondary School in the Archdiocese of Sydney, imbuing the faith life, values, work ethic and pragmatism of St. Marcellin Champagnat, seeks to employ a suitable person for the role of: </p><h4>PDHPE Teacher - Temporary until end of Term 4, 2021 </h4><h5>Start Date - Week 4 Term 3 or near after </h5><p>Interviews may commence with candidates prior to the closing date </p><p>With an increased and coeducational cohort, a broader subject selection and therefore the creation of more teaching and learning roles, the College is preparing for an innovative future. With a deliberate focus on student achievement, teaching and learning methodology, school wellbeing, faith development and school resourcing programs, we aspire to attract candidates who will help bring about for our students One school - Unlimited possibilities. </p><h5>Key Selection Criteria </h5><p>The successful applicant will be a highly effective teacher who demonstrates the following: </p><ul><li>Commitment to the Catholic Church and a strong sense of faith. </li><li>Have a capacity to enliven the values of truth, empathy, excellence, curiosity and collaboration in students with regard to the Mission and Vision of Sydney Catholic Schools. </li><li>Qualified to teach PDHPE across all Secondary Stages in particular Stage 6 Sports,Lifestyle &amp; Recreation </li><li>Be willing to undertake continued professional development and faith formation. </li><li>Has a willingness to assist and lead students in extracurricular activities like performance and exhibitions. </li><li>Be prepared to undertake leadership mentoring and training from peers and develop and demonstrate strong professional relationships with colleagues. </li></ul><p>All applications are to be submitted in writing and addressed to: </p><p>Mr Anthony Boys, Principal K-12 </p><p>c/o Rachel Noble, Assistant to Principal K-12 </p><p>Email: rachel.noble&#64;syd.catholic.edu.au </p><p>The application letter will need to reflect the key selection criteria for the position.
