<p>We are seeking an innovative and energetic educator who is qualified to teach in our College in this temporary full-time maternity leave position commencing Term 4, 2021 and concluding at the end of Term 2, 2022. </p><p> </p><p>Essential criteria for the Music Teacher position are:<br /></p><ul><li>degree appropriate teacher education qualification.<br /></li><li>recent secondary teaching experience in Music. </li><li>ability to teach Stages 4 &amp; 5 Music. </li><li>recent, active substantial professional development in teaching in the area of Music curricula. </li><li>recent interest in or exposure to best practice pedagogy in secondary Music. </li><li>energy and enthusiasm for raising levels of growth, interest and achievement in Music. </li><li>sound and thorough knowledge of NESA curricula in Music and a willingness to build up the same. </li><li>a willingness to lead, administer and contribute to the extensive extra-curricular program the College offers.</li><li>high level of interpersonal skills.</li></ul><p>Bethany is a technology-rich school with a Newman Selective School stream.
