GRG embraces non-discriminatory recruitment by providing equal employment opportunity to all.</p><p> </p><p><b>About the Job </b></p><p>• Provide the best possible education for the students within their classroom and contribute to the pastoral care and co-curricular programs of the School. </p><p>• Develop and implement highly effective teaching programs, including differentiated teaching programs to cater to the needs of individual students </p><p>• Be conversant and up-to-date with the NSW Syllabus, consolidating and enriching each student’s learning </p><p>• Keep abreast of current trends in technology and use these to enhance learning outcomes and improve engagement, differentiation and learning strategies in all classes </p><p>• Monitor student growth and report upon student progress </p><p>• Collect, evaluate, and use data in order to enhance teaching and learning programs </p><p>• Provide effective feedback to improve student understanding and learning </p><p>• Create a learning environment which stimulates thinking and promotes excellence, where students are both challenged and supported. </p><p>A role description can be found on the school’s website https://grg.nsw.edu.au/about/working-at-grg </p><p><b>About You </b></p><p>• Passionate, motivated educator determined to assist our students thrive in Science </p><p>• Experience teaching Stage 6 Physics, and/or Chemistry is preferable </p><p>• Hold the requisite NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA) approved teaching qualifications and accreditation </p><p>• Be a passionate about teaching and able to demonstrate how you have applied this in your lesson planning and classroom management. </p><p>• Be a great communicator, both written and verbally, including demonstrated experience in engaging with parents, staff and students </p><p>• Be willing to participate fully in the co-curricular life of the School </p><p>• Have a valid Working with Children Check clearance (Working with Children Act 2012) </p><p><br /></p><p> </p>
