As part of the mission of the Catholic Church in the Diocese of Parramatta, the Head Program Delivery is accountable for working with the Executive team to prioritise and align strategic initiatives, and for applying a structure and framework to ensure the successful delivery of CEDP programs and projects.

To develop and execute our strategy and achieve our plans for growth and improvement, we are seeking an astute senior leader to join our executive team in the Head of Program Delivery role.</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About the opportunity:</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">Partner with school and central office leadership teams to establish Strategic Delivery as a centre of excellence. You will own and enhance the program management framework (including policies, systems and processes) to enable delivery of programs and activities and in doing so, support the Strategic Delivery Directorate to deliver key strategic outcomes. More specifically, you will:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Establish best practice methodology for the delivery of CEDP programs of work</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Build consistency and transparency of practice across all directorates</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Liaise with all directorates to collect and analyse program and project data to support effective decision-making and reporting</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Work closely with program and project leaders to implement agreed priorities consistent with CEDP’s service culture and intent</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Implement systems to effectively track project performance against objectives and compliance with established standards to enable the successful delivery</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Lead program resourcing, financial management processes, risk management and project prioritisation within CEDP portfolios</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders within programs of work and with external vendors</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>About you:</strong></p> <p>To be successful in this rewarding role, you will demonstrate alignment to the purpose and core values of CEDP along with the following selection criteria:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Tertiary qualification in a relevant area of study</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Functional strategy and leadership experience&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Stakeholder management experience</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Proven track record for planning, executing, controlling and closing projects and the ability to manage&nbsp; multiple and complex projects simultaneously with minimal supervision</p> </li> <li>Top or mid-tier strategy house and big 4 consulting firm experience highly regarded<br><br></li> <li>Proven ability to identify adjacencies between projects that deliver synergistic values and remove road blocks to delivery&nbsp;of strategic&nbsp;goals</li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Experience of managing a PMO office</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Experience of defining and delivering benefits realisation for projects and programmes</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Negotiation, conflict management and interpersonal skills</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Demonstrated ability to respond to the changing educational environment</p> </li> </ul> <p>We believe that our employee community is a key strength of our organisation and we aim to attract the best people to achieve our strategic goal of being leaders in quality, faith-based education and an employer of choice in our sector.
