School leaders within the Diocese of Parramatta are responsible to the Principal and share in leading the learning and teaching within the school. They are responsible for leading and supporting the delivery of high quality personalised learning and teaching embedded in the Catholic worldview. <p>We are seeking a skilled Instructional Coach to be accountable for leading and learning, through collaboration, instructional leadership, supporting evidence-based practice and a commitment to their own learning.&nbsp; The role includes an opportunity to participate in a 3 year program tailored professional learning.&nbsp;</p> <p>The Instructional Coach:</p> <ul> <li>Contributes to the delivery of the system strategic intent and learning agenda within the local school context</li> <li>Exercises Catholic leadership and fosters the faith formation of students and staff</li> <li>Leads the implementation of the learning framework, agreed pedagogical practice, and school action plan with a focus on Diversity, literacy and numeracy skills</li> <li>Coaches teachers and models agreed practice to support students at the point of need using data and research-informed practice in literacy and numeracy</li> <li>Enables teachers to transfer intervention strategies to the local context</li> <li>Supports teachers in the use of assessment and developing differentiated and personalised learning opportunities</li> <li>Analyses and uses data to assist other leaders and teachers in understanding student and teacher learning needs</li> <li>Informs the professional learning and capacity building program of the school</li> <li>Contributes to a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility across the school</li> <li>Works collaboratively with the Leadership Team&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>Typical Experience and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Accredited tertiary qualification in education or degree in a specific discipline with a graduate degree in teaching&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience in intervention strategies across literacy and/or numeracy such as R3, EMU, RR</li> <li>Demonstrated success in improving student learning outcomes in literacy and numeracy</li> <li>Capacity to work with other professionals to improve practice</li> <li>Working with Children Check</li> <li>Australian resident or citizen</li> </ul> <p>The Organisation</p> <p dir="ltr">Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 83 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">This position involves working with children.
