<p><b>FULL-TIME | SALARY RANGE 110,000 P.A. NEGOTIABLE PLUS SUPER</b></p><p><b>INITIAL 3 YEAR CONTRACT | COMMENCING - IMMEDIATE</b></p><p><b> </b></p><p>An exciting opportunity exists for an Internal Audit and Risk Officer working with regional and remote schools in the Northern Territory. The position is based at Berrimah, Catholic Education Office. </p><p>The Internal Audit and Risk Officer will be responsible for conducting and coordinating internal audits and reviewing across the Catholic Education Northern Territory (CENT). This vital role is responsible for developing and embedding a Risk Management Framework (RMF) at CENT that delivers improved processes and outcomes. </p><p>Key responsibilities: </p><p>• Carriage for the developing CENT Risk Management Framework, including the review, monitoring and reporting on corporate, strategic and financial risk management issues. </p><p>• Conducting internal school finance and system process audits and making recommendations for improvement. </p><p>• Support the Deputy Director in the development of finance and system governance policies </p><p>• Educate School leaders in risk management responsibilities and processes. </p><p>• Developing and implementing risk reporting dashboards for risk reporting purposes. </p><p>• Ensuring CENT Finance Officers and Principals following legislative requirements and provide guidance on optimum practices and procedures. </p><p>• Undertaking timely follow up of issues to drive attainment of recommendations.</p><p>This position may involve a presence in schools and required working with children card.
