Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School Pymble is seeking to appoint a Classroom Teacher to teach K - 6 on a temporary part time basis in 2022.

It&#39;s the kind of work that invigorates children&#39;s learning while unlocking your own potential. </p><p><b>About the Role </b></p><p>Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School Pymble is seeking to appoint an energetic Classroom Teacher to teach K – 6. The Classroom Teacher will be suitably qualified and enjoy working in a dynamic and cohesive team. </p><p>This is a temporary part-time role for 12 months starting in January 2022 until December 2022. </p><p>This temporary engagement will be 0.5 FTE during which the required days of work will be Wednesday, Thursday, Friday in week 1 and Thursday, Friday in week 2 of the fortnight. However, the required days of work are negotiable.</p><p>We are looking for highly skilled and passionate teacher to inspire, motivate and engage students. Working collaboratively with teachers at the school you will be responsible for implementing innovative and evidence informed practices that improve outcomes for all. Being prepared to grow and learn is an essential part of this role as we aim to ensure success for all our students. </p><p><b>Specific Criteria </b></p><ul><li>Knowledge of how to structure lessons to meet the physical, social and intellectual development and characteristics of students</li><li>Understand the fundamental concepts, structure and enquiry processes relevant to programs they develop and teach</li><li>Able to create and maintain safe, inclusive and challenging learning environments and implement fair and equitable strategies to foster positive behaviour</li><li>Ability and willingness to incorporate and promote the use of technology in the classroom</li><li>Operate effectively at all stages of the teaching and learning cycle, including planning for learning and assessment, developing diverse learning programs, teaching, assessing, providing feedback on student learning and reporting to parents/carers</li><li>Value opportunities to engage with their school communities within and beyond the classroom to enrich the educational context for students and work to promote the links between school, home and community in the social and intellectual development of their students.</li></ul><p><b>The Rewards </b></p><p>Be part of a passionate team committed to delivering authentic Catholic education with care and compassion.
