Cranbrook School is seeking a full-time Communications Coordinator to join its Communications Department, based at the Senior School campus at Bellevue Hill.

<p><b>ABOUT THE POSITION </b></p><p>The Communications Coordinator will support the Communications Manager in the delivery of communication and marketing activity, messaging and collateral across a broad range of channels, to different audiences across the School. </p><p>The role involves the execution of communication tasks, in collaboration with the Communications Manager, including creation of written content for communicating internally and externally across digital and print channels, working with stakeholders to develop stories suitable for media consumption, actively monitoring Cranbrook School’s media coverage, reviewing written material for brand consistency, planning and conducting communications programs for selected events or activities, and writing and distributing press releases. </p><p><b>ABOUT YOU </b></p><p>You are an enthusiastic, motivated communications professional with experience in creating compelling written content for use across digital and print. You keep abreast of emerging trends within the field, and are enthusiastic about identifying ways these could be implemented within a school environment. </p><p>With a professional demeanour, and exceptional interpersonal skills, you will have a demonstrated customer service-based approach in all interactions, and the ability to think clearly and remain calm under pressure. You have a good sense of humour and thrive in a high-energy work environment. </p><p>Key Selection Criteria </p><ul><li>At least two years’ experience in marketing and communications </li><li>Demonstrated experience in creating compelling written content for use across digital and print </li><li>Strong understanding of marketing strategies and principles, social media trends and emerging digital technologies. </li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team </li><li>Exceptional relationship skills with the ability to work inclusively and respectfully with a broad range of people </li><li>High level organisational and time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure. </li></ul><p>Tertiary qualifications in marketing or communications or similar will be highly regarded. </p><p><b>WORKING WITH CHILDREN CHECK </b></p><p>The successful applicant for this position will be required to hold a current NSW Working with Children Check clearance.</p><p> </p>
