<p>St Paul’s Catholic School is a primary co-educational school catering for 205 students from Kindergarten to Grade 6 providing quality and Christ-centred education for all students.</p><p>The school is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates who are able to demonstrate a commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education for the following position to be based at Bridgewater.</p><p>Finance Officer </p><p>Part-time 0.8FTE, Ongoing </p><p>32 hours per week - 45 weeks per year</p><p>Commencing: 27th January 2022</p><p>This part-time position will assist the Principal with the financial management of the school and be required to demonstrate: </p><ul><li>Effectiveness in financial and accounting functions (including accounts payable, accounts receivable and end of month procedures) </li><li>Experience in preparing and analysis of budget and monthly financial reports</li><li>Ability to follow specified policies, procedures and internal control and audit processes</li><li>Experience in maintaining personnel records and payroll system for staff </li><li>Proficiency in the use of computerised processing and commercial finance systems</li><li>Strong time management and organisational abilities in an office environment</li><li>Ability to work cooperatively within a wider team environment </li><li>Commitment to personal and team effectiveness </li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018.<br /></p><p>Catholic Education Tasmania is committed to supporting the rights of children and young people and providing a safe and supportive environment for them.
