Our foundation as a traditional, yet modern place of education ensures our students gain from our experience and history through innovative pedagogy inspired by best practice.</p><p><b>Join Scots Success - </b><b>Senior School Librarian</b></p><p>The Senior School Librarian is an ongoing position, following a successful probation period of 6 months, with an initial 0.8 load, commencing Term 1 2022.</p><p>Applicants for this role will ideally be an inspiring energetic and enthusiastic Library specialist with previous experience in a school environment. </p><p> </p><p><b>Applicants for this role will ideally have: </b><br /></p><ul><li>Qualifications in subject area and Teaching and or Education that allow registration as a Teacher in NSW. <br /></li><li>Fulfill requirements as mandated by NESA. </li><li>Current NSW Working With Children Check Clearance. </li><li>Understanding of the role of Librarian and ability to deliver relevant and challenging lessons in support of curriculum objectives. </li><li>Knowledge of library and information systems. </li><li>Experience as a Library specialist in a school environment would be highly regarded. </li></ul><p><b>The Role:</b></p><p>The Librarian for the Senior School is an ongoing position, following a successful probation period of 6 months, and will work collaboratively with the Junior School Library Teacher. </p><p><b>How to apply for roles:</b><br /></p><p>All applicants must be eligible to work in Australia, and successful applicants must gain a NSW working with children check before they commence employment. </p><p>All teaching staff must hold current registration with the NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA).
