At St Mary's, we strive to inspire, nurture and challenge each child to reach their potential through providing quality education in a supportive learning environmen About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Principal to join our team. Please note that this position is for an initial two-year period with an opportunity for further extensions. Two further extensions (each of four years) may be offered based on performance outcomes. The position will be underpinned by a permanent (ongoing) teaching position within Catholic Education.  Essential Criteria <ul> <li>A sound knowledge of the Church's mission in Catholic Education and a personal faith commitment</li> <li>A genuine willingness and ability to work collaboratively with others to continually improve teaching and learning</li> <li>A commitment to reflective practices and ongoing professional learning about contemporary pedagogy</li> <li>An understanding that parents and community members are critical partners in the learning process</li> <li>Knowledge and ability in catering for the different learning styles and needs of students</li> <li>Highly organised, flexible and able to think and plan effectively, using data to inform decision-making</li> <li>A willingness to learn skills in using current and emerging technologies in teaching and learning</li> <li>A creative approach to teaching and learning and a willingness to be a part of a team exploring project based learning and other contemporary pedagogies.</li> </ul> Please refer to the role description for an in-depth detail regarding criteria and skill set required.
