<p>At Good Shepherd Early Childcare Services (GSECS) we are passionate about providing quality education and care within a Christian environment to children attending our Service. </p><p>GSECS is a well-established community based Christian early childhood service with a long-standing reputation for excellent quality early education and care. </p><p>GSECS is looking for an Early Childhood Teacher to fulfil a 30 hours per week ongoing position in our Kindergarten programs. </p><p>Responsibilities: </p><p>• Facilitate positive and respectful relationships with all children. </p><p>• Implement effective and appropriate behaviour guidance techniques and strategies. </p><p>• Using the approved learning framework, develop and implement an age-appropriate, early childhood program that is based on planning, reflective practices, and intentional teaching. </p><p>• Model effective application of pedagogy in teaching practices. </p><p>• Keep accurate records of individual children to support future planning and report on developmental progress. </p><p>• Work collaboratively within a team on planning, documenting and evaluation of the program to ensure the best outcomes for children and families, </p><p>• Establish an environment that meets the emotional, social, cognitive, spiritual, and physical needs of the children. </p><p>• Develop children’s spiritual awareness through the exploration of belief systems and celebrations embraced by the Lutheran Church. </p><p>To be successful in this role, you will need: </p><p>* Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA Approved) or qualification that meets the requirements of the Victorian Kindergarten Funding Scheme. </p><p>* Current Working with Children Check </p><p>* Teacher’s Registration </p><p>* Current First Aid certificate, asthma and anaphylaxis management training </p><p>* Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards </p><p>* Excellent written and verbal communication skills </p><p>Pay and conditions in accordance with the VECTEA. </p><p>To apply, email your cover letter and CV to goodshepherd.ecs&#64;qlecs.org.au. </p><p>Applications close 5pm Monday 25 October, 2021. </p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
