Our exciting primary school is a vibrant School in the heart of Woden ACT. With a growing student population, we need a passionate new member of our Administration Team to start as soon as possible.

<p>Located in the heart of Woden, ACT. </p><p> We are a small Christian school (approx 200 students and 10 classes) with a dynamic teaching team and excellent opportunities for growth. To be a part of our team you will have initiative, excellent communication abilities and relevant qualifications. </p><p>Hours 8.30am-4pm </p><p>ABOUT THE VACANCY </p><p>We are looking to fill the position of School Administration with a candidate who is well-versed with office management, customer relations, and an ability to establish efficiency in administrative operations. </p><p>You will report directly to our Principal, working on the day-to-day operation of the school, business development, and nurturing relations with the families of our students. </p><p>REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES </p><ul><li>Effective and passionate communicator </li><li>Excellent organisational skills and self-discipline </li><li>Excellent computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Synergetic (School accounting software)</li><li>Experience in customer service and people relations </li></ul><p>RESPONSIBILITIES </p><ul><li>Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline processes </li><li>Ensure efficient flow of the administration functions in the school, including school excursions, fees/payments, enrolments, school tours, all school official written correspondence, Government liaison &amp; reporting, student and staff attendance, student reporting, visitors, etc. </li><li>Provide secretarial assistance to the School Executive (Deputy Principal and Principal) </li><li>Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other school operations, such as the school newsletter, and internal emails </li><li>Manage the school timetable and individual staff schedules </li><li>Organise and supervise other school events (Open Days, Awards Night, Parent-Teacher Interviews, Orientation Day, etc.) </li><li>Monitor inventory of class and office supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constraints </li><li>Monitor costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation </li><li>Oversee facilities services, maintenance activities and tradespersons (e.g electricians) </li><li>Ensure operations adhere to policies and regulations </li><li>Keep abreast with all organisational changes and school developments</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
