Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong (CEDoW) comprises 38 Catholic schools with more then 19,000 students enrolled across the Illawarra, Macarthur, Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands regions.

<p dir="ltr">The Director of Schools invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced people who would like their work to make a difference in the lives of children and young people for this full time permanent position with at Catholic Education, Diocese of Wollongong (CEDoW) commencing as soon as possible.</p> <p dir="ltr">ABOUT US</p> <p dir="ltr">Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong (CEDoW)&nbsp;was established in 1952 and&nbsp;serves Catholic systemic school communities across the four regions of the Illawarra, Macarthur, Southern Highlands and Shoalhaven. There are currently 29 Catholic parish primary schools, eight Catholic co-educational secondary schools and one K-12 Catholic school, who together with our Catholic Education Office, constitute the system of Catholic schools in the Diocese of Wollongong. All who work with us are called to act with Hope, Justice, Integrity and Compassion.</p> <p dir="ltr">SCOPE OF THE ROLE:</p> <p dir="ltr">The role of the Senior Data and Integrations Developer (SDID) is focused on the development and maintenance of the database and integration components of CEDoW information systems architecture. This role includes Data Warehouse management and the design and evolution of new and existing data and integrations assets.</p> <p dir="ltr">The SDID reports to the Chief Data Officer as part of the Applications and Data Integrations team. The role requires collaboration within ICLT, across the organisation with stakeholders and externally with CEnet and various information system vendors.</p> <p dir="ltr">The SDID will be instrumental in the implementation of the ONCE Strategy, ensuring optimisation of existing data and integration architecture, and identifying areas for improvement and ongoing development.</p> <p dir="ltr">ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr">Supportive of the mission and purpose of Catholic Education.</li> <li dir="ltr">Ability to process data in a variety of forms and complete internal, external and compliance reporting.</li> <li dir="ltr">Experience in design, development and administration of relational databases including SQL and Mongo.</li> <li dir="ltr">Experience with integration tools, such as Dell Boomi.</li> <li dir="ltr">Knowledge of business intelligence software including Tableau and Yellowfin.</li> <li dir="ltr">Ability to adapt to changing technology and act proactively.</li> <li dir="ltr">Ability to represent the organisation in an honest, ethical and professional way.</li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">GENERAL CAPABILITIES</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr">Highly developed oral and written communication skills.</li> <li dir="ltr">Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.</li> <li dir="ltr">Sound understanding of the principles of data design and relational databases.</li> <li dir="ltr">Highly developed conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> <li dir="ltr">Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.</li> <li dir="ltr">Ability to maintain confidentiality and display discretion.</li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr">Bachelor of Applied Science (Computing).</li> <li dir="ltr">2-3 years System integration and database administration experience including <ul> <li dir="ltr">Writing queries for integration, visualisation and reporting purposes.</li> <li dir="ltr">Creation of integration packages including ETLs.</li> <li dir="ltr">Consume and create web APIs.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">SALARY AND CONDITIONS</p> <p dir="ltr">$123,500 per annum + 10% superannaution.&nbsp;</p> <p>WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE</p> <p>This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.</p> <p>Applicants for this position must be able to comply with NSW Public Health Orders that are in place at the time of the commencement date of the position.
