<p><b>Position Details </b></p><ul><li>Full Time Fixed Term Middle Leader Position (3 Years)</li><li>Substantive Permanent Teacher Position</li><li>30 Hours Per Week</li><li>Commencing: 15 January 2022</li><li>Applications close: 5pm, Monday 5 November 2021</li></ul><p><b>Purpose of the Role </b></p><p>As a Teacher you will: </p><ul><li>Plan, prepare and deliver effective learning and teaching programs</li><li>Contribute to the development and implementation of the school objectives and school planning</li><li>Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a supportive school environment</li></ul><p>As Middle Leader – Vocational Education &amp; Careers you will: </p><ul><li>Support and guide the delivery of vocational (VET) programs according to staff skills, school resources and in collaboration with the other members of the Curriculum Team and Deputy Principal Curriculum &amp; Administration.</li><li>Collaborate with students, parents, business and industry, Registered Training Organisations and community organisations to support positive vocational learning opportunities and transitions.</li><li>Work with colleagues to lead the positive transitions for young people into, through and out of the school to connect with their next stage of education, employment and/or training</li><li>Support students to identify career pathways, provide careers advice and monitor workplace learning of students engaged in all types of vocational and work experience placements.</li><li>Coordinate work experience placements</li><li>Coordinate SET planning</li><li>Monitor and review student progression</li></ul><p> </p><p><b>Mandatory Qualifications and Requirements </b></p><ul><li>Professional qualifications in Education</li><li>Registered or eligible to register with Queensland College of Teachers</li><li>Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) </li><li>Willingness to achieve Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School and Accreditation to Teach Religion in a Catholic School (Teachers of Religious Education)</li><li>Willingness to support and participate in the prayer, liturgy and sacramental life of the Church in the school community</li><li>Promote child safety at all times </li><li>Capacity to understand and implement Duty of Care and Workplace Health and Safety requirements. </li><li>Current drivers licence </li><li>A strong demonstrated commitment to the objectives, vision and ethos of Catholic Education</li></ul><p><b>How to Apply </b></p><p>For further information and an application pack, please visit the CES website </p><p>Applications close: 5pm, Friday 5 November 2021 </p><p><i>Catholic Education is an equal opportunity employer. </i></p><p><i>Intending applicants must be fully committed to creating and maintaining a child safe organisation.</i></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
