The ISM is a key position within the ICT department, responsible for developing and enhancing the College’s information systems through the creation and maintenance of applications, reports and integrations.</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div>The ISM is primarily responsible for taking ownership of the College’s information systems, creating and maintaining reports and enhancements within the College’s existing Student Information System, continuing the development of existing custom-built systems, and to develop new applications where existing systems are not feasible to use for any given project.</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div>The ISM is responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight of information systems and data initiatives across the College.</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><b>About You </b></div><div>The successful applicant will model professionalism and collegiality and be able to display integrity, enthusiasm and energy. If this sounds like you, then this is the position for you.</div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div>To be considered for this role, you must have the following knowledge, skills and experience: </div><ul><li>Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or similar </li><li>Demonstrable industry experience, including a minimum of two years in an equivalent position </li><li>Proven experience in the management of information and database systems and software, preferably in an educational setting </li><li>Proven experience in database design, functional and technical skills, particularly with MS SQL </li><li>Experience with integrating disparate information systems </li><li>Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail </li><li>Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal </li><li>Proven track record of developing and providing Service Level Agreements and Helpdesk deliverables </li><li>Demonstrated understanding of ICT best practice principles </li><li>Good broad technical understanding of hardware, software, applications, networks, communications technologies </li><li>Demonstrated analytical and problem management skills </li><li>Capacity to manage own time and deliver to a schedule </li><li>Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required </li><li>Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language to non-technical staff and end users </li><li>Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment </li><li>Exceptional customer service orientation </li><li>Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment </li><li>A commitment to the child safety principles </li><li>Willingness to support the Catholic ethos and learning culture of the College </li></ul><div>For further information about the role, view the position description <a href="https://rosebank.nsw.edu.au/wp-content/uploads/Information-Systems-Manager.pdf" rel="nofollow">here</a>.</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><b>Closing Date: Monday, 25 October 2021 (4pm)</b></div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div> </div><div><b>The Process</b></div><div>If you believe you meet the requirements of this position as listed above then we would love to hear from you.
