Rosebank College promotes an inclusive, welcoming environment for children and provides transparent, accountable, risk-managed approaches to ensure child safeguarding. </p><p>For further information about Rosebank College, please visit our website: <a href="http://www.rosebank.nsw.edu.au." rel="nofollow">www.rosebank.nsw.edu.au.</a> </p><p><br /></p><p><b>About the Role </b></p><p>Rosebank College is seeking to appoint a permanent full-time Coordinator of Literacy and Research: Scholastica Research and Study Centre (SRSC), Full time (1.0FTE) at the commencement of the 2022 school year. </p><p>Reporting to the Dean of Learning, the Coordinator of Literacy and Research: Scholastica Research and Study Centre (SRSC), will work closely with the Assistant Dean of Learning (Middle School) and is primarily responsible for supporting the vision and mission of the College by designing, delivering and implementing the strategic priorities of the Scholastica Research and Study Centre (SRSC). </p><p>The Coordinator of Literacy and Research is also responsible for the overall leadership of the SRSC, including The Library Technician, and Library Assistant who are responsible for ensuring the fulfilment of administrative services and core functions in the Scholastica Research and Study Centre (SRSC) are met. </p><p>The Coordinator of Literacy and Research is an advocate of teaching and learning curriculum within the college by developing effective library programs and information services which promote the development of lifelong learners and responsible digital citizens. </p><p>The Coordinator of Literacy and Research is responsible for fostering a culture of collaboration by working closely with all staff, students and the College Curriculum team in the implementation of school wide initiatives to support student outcomes and develop capacity.</p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p><b>About You </b></p><p>The Coordinator of Literacy and Research has a vital role within the Rosebank educational community as a curriculum advocate and is a member of the Curriculum Learning team. </p><p>The successful candidate will be an outstanding educator who is highly motivated to support Rosebank College to ensure continued academic achievement, by inspiring and developing innovative learning which engages, and values every learner. </p><p>To be considered for this position, you must be a highly dedicated English teacher who meets the following criteria: </p><ul><li>Must be an effective classroom practitioner with at least 5 years’ teaching experience </li><li>A sound understanding and proven experience of curriculum requirements </li><li>Experienced in leading staff in professional learning. </li><li>Demonstrated success improving student outcomes. </li><li>Demonstrated success in implementing school wide initiatives. </li><li>Experienced in using data analysis to inform educational initiatives. </li><li>Work effectively with students to develop successful study habits </li><li>Support the College leadership team in achieving school wide improvement in outcomes. </li><li>Exceptional communication skills and well-developed interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with staff, faculties, students </li><li>Understand guided inquiry and be able to successfully implement it in the classroom. </li><li>Understand and show commitment to the Australian Professional Standards for Teaching </li><li>Possess proven ability to incorporate modern technologies into their teaching practice and convey passion about classroom innovation </li><li>Possess a valid Working with Children Check </li><li>A commitment to the child safeguarding principles </li><li>Support the Catholic ethos and learning culture of the College </li><li>Work effectively within a team environment </li><li>Contribute to the service and professionalism of the College support staff </li></ul><p>For further information about the role, view the position description <a href="https://rosebank.nsw.edu.au/wp-content/uploads/Coordinator-of-Literacy-and-Research.pdf" rel="nofollow">here</a>.<br /></p><p><br /></p><p><b>Closing date: Monday, 25 October 2021 (4pm)</b></p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p><b>The Process </b></p><p>If you believe you meet the requirements of this position as listed above, then we would love to hear from you.
