<p>An opportunity has become available for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Japanese with a passion for children and learning to join our team at Golden Grove Lutheran Primary School - one of Adelaide&#39;s leading independent schools. The successful applicants will work within a supportive team in an outstanding, vibrant school committed to inspiring and developing students’ spiritual, academic, emotional and social potential through our values of &#39;Believe, Collaborate, Achieve&#39;.</p><p><br /></p><p>The successful applicants will:</p><p>- Have a love for the teaching of the Japanese language, culture and customs</p><p>- Embrace the sister school relationship with Eisugakkan and our regular study tours of Japan </p><p>- Demonstrate an appreciation or active understanding of the IB PYP</p><p>- Have relevant teaching experience and tertiary qualifications</p><p>- Be supportive of the Christian ethos of the School</p><p>- Possess a passion for education, children, learning, relationships and teamwork</p><p>- Possess a thorough knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and the capacity to write, deliver and evaluate differentiated teaching and learning programs</p><p>- Be confident integrating various forms of ICT in a resource rich learning environment</p><p>- Have the capacity to communicate co-operatively and proactively with students, staff and parents</p><p>- Have a commitment to student wellbeing and an understanding of the social and emotional needs of children</p><p>- Show a commitment to continued professional learning</p><p>- Possess strong organisational skills</p><p>- Show initiative, flexibility and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team</p><p>The successful applicant will also be expected to hold a valid working with children check and teacher registration in South Australia.</p><p>Applications should include a resume outlining previous and current teaching experience, qualifications, and areas of strength and interest.
