In bringing a True Education to life, Wesley College staff are committed to: fostering learning for all; the highest levels of contemporary practice; upholding the values of Wesley College; and leadership of self and others. </p><p>With a negotiated start date in 2022, the Head of Digital Learning and Practice will be a member of the College Executive Information Technology Committee and work across all campuses of Wesley College. Reporting to the Director of Learning, they will deliver the ‘Digital by Default’ college wide strategy and lead and coordinate the work of the Digital Learning and Practice Team. This role requires collaboration with the Learning Leadership Team, College leadership, People and Culture, and Information Technology teams to design and deliver an ongoing training and coaching program to support and implement digital learning initiatives across all campuses of Wesley College. </p><p>The ideal candidate will possess clear change management and adaptive thinking skills and inspire a culture of innovation, creativity, and collaboration. They will engage with current research and actively participate in professional learning networks by engaging in writing articles, and delivering presentations for parents, colleagues and the wider community as required. The Head of Digital Learning and Practice will bring an evidence based approach to their decision making, keeping abreast of new practice, emerging technologies, and future technology directions. </p><p>This role also supports the development and implementation of Digital Wellbeing and Cyber Safety initiatives across the College. </p><p> Key selection criteria include: </p><p>• Experience and strong knowledge of contemporary digital pedagogical approaches to enhancing classroom teaching practice </p><p>• Experience in leading and managing the implementation of professional learning programs supporting staff in developing their digital technology skills </p><p>• Expert knowledge of Microsoft suite, Teams, SharePoint, and other related M365 software </p><p>• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Surface devices to support teaching and learning </p><p>• Commitment to ongoing development of knowledge and understanding of improving and optimising the learning and reporting outcomes for students </p><p>• Experience in leading and managing the implementation of an integrated learning management system </p><p>• Ability to think strategically and implement change management strategies with a focus on building relationships </p><p>Wesley College has a zero-tolerance policy for child abuse and is committed to promoting child safety, children’s wellbeing and protecting children from abuse.
