<p>The Tasmanian Catholic Education Office (TCEO) is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates who are able to demonstrate a commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education for the following position to be based at our New Town office.</p>

<p><strong>Education Officer: </strong><strong>Catholic Identity and Evangelisation (CIE) </strong></p>
<p><strong>0.6 </strong><strong>FTE – 3 Year Contract</strong></p>

<p>Education Officers provide advice and support to Catholic Education Tasmania (CET) schools and build capacity of educators to improve outcomes for students.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Education Officers implement policies, practices and programs that aim to increase capacity of key staff to support students to achieve successful outcomes. The role incorporates a collaborative approach across TCEO teams, school personnel and the broader CET community.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>This role is accountable for facilitating and implementing processes to support leadership and teaching of Religious Education and faith formation initiatives and strategies.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>This full-time 3-year contract position commencing January 2022 will report to the Director: Catholic Identity and Evangelisation (CIE) and is responsible for:</p>
<ul type="disc">
<li>Effectively contributing to the capacity building of educators in CET to improve learning outcomes for students</li>
<li>Promote and support quality learning and teaching aligned to the Good News for Living (GNfL)</li>
<li>Facilitate school, regional and/or cluster based professional learning (aligned to system priorities)</li>
</ul>

<p>The successful candidate will be required to hold current registration to teach in Tasmania prior to commencement.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Salary will be in line with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018.</p>
