The Towards 2025 Strategy commits our system of schools to being at least as good as the very best, to maximise the learning growth of every student, and to inspire hearts and minds to know Christ and love learning. </p><p>Covering an expansive geographical area which includes the Central Coast and Sydney’s Northern Beaches and North Shore, Catholic Schools Broken Bay is a system serving 44 Catholic Schools with around 17,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 12.</p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p><b>About the Role </b></p><p>This is a temporary Learning Support Aide role with up to 60 hours per fortnight and reports to the School Principal at Our Lady of the Rosary, The Entrance.</p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p><b>About You </b></p><p>To be successful in this role you will be supportive of the ethos of Catholic Education. Previous experience supporting students with extensive needs is preferred. The skills you will bring to the role are: </p><ul><li>Understanding of, and ability to feed through a PEG feeding tube. </li><li>Experience in the use of an eye gaze device for communication - specifically Tobii and Grid3. </li><li>Ability to scaffold tasks in the classroom to support learning. </li><li>Ability to add to and change grids on Grid3 so the student can access the curriculum. </li><li>Assisting the student to engage with peers. </li><li>Liaise with the student’s support team, both internal and external service providers.</li><li> Ability to support the learning of mainstream students K – 6.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b>The Rewards </b></p><p>Be part of a team of passionate educators delivering authentic Catholic education with care and compassion.
