<p>OneSchool Global is one of the world’s largest, truly global schools, with over 9500 students, 130 campuses and 2500 staff operating across 20 countries. </p><p>OneSchool Global is renowned for its innovation and offers a range of learning opportunities for its students and development opportunities for its staff. </p><p>OneSchool Global NSW is seeking to appoint a highly proficient and experienced educational leader who possesses a high level of professional competency across a range of key areas and has a proven ability to articulate and support the educational vision of independent schooling. </p><p>The position is being offered on a full-time permanent basis commencing in Term 1, 2022. Ideally you will be based in Sydney, Newcastle or Wollongong but other locations will be considered. </p><p>The Associate Principal is a senior position within OneSchool Global NSW and effectively deputises for the Regional Principal. The Associate Principal, in collaboration with members of the Leadership Team, will provide support to the Regional Principal in the transformation of OneSchool Global NSW from a single school operating as 12 campuses to 12 separately registered schools under the one proprietor and subsequently, the formation and implementation of a school system. </p><p>The Associate Principal will: </p><p>Work with the Leadership Team and other senior leaders at OneSchool Global NSW to respond to emerging issues and trends within the educational sector and specifically within the OneSchool Global network of schools across Australia and the world. </p><p>Engage in decision-making and help develop the strategic and policy directions of OneSchool Global NSW. </p><p>Support OneSchool Global NSW and school principals in monitoring the performance of schools and ensuring high standards for students and staff performance. The role is accountable to the Regional Principal of Schools and may deputise in their absence with full delegated authority to uphold the policies of OneSchool Global NSW. </p><p><b>Essential Criteria: </b></p><p>Postgraduate qualifications in education or educational leadership combined with a minimum of ten years teaching experience and five years’ experience as a Deputy Principal, District Principal or senior school leader, or an equivalent combination of experience, training, and achievement. </p><p>Demonstrated ability to assess and support schools in setting and achieving strategic priorities; initiating and driving improvement, innovation, and change; and embedding and applying new learning within a rapidly changing sector and global environment. </p><p>Exceptional leadership qualities and a substantial record of achievement and commitment to leading effective professional learning communities and delivering quality learning outcomes for all students in line with the school improvement agenda. </p><p>In depth knowledge of and experience in curriculum and pedagogy and familiarity with state and national developments in education and accreditation. </p><ul><li>Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with school leaders across a range of school settings. </li><li>A demonstrated capacity to develop and support leaders in ensuring alignment with OSG strategic planning and priorities. </li><li>Excellent organisational and time management skills, the capacity to effectively use data and manage a range of competing priorities. </li><li>Demonstrated abilities in mentoring, communication, relationship building and conflict resolution. </li><li>Excellent Information Technology skills with experience in systems management. </li><li>In depth knowledge of all relevant legislation and legal frameworks including child protection, work health and safety, performance management, independent school governance, Student Management Systems, Learning Management Systems, and the capacity to implement relevant plans and policies to ensure strong governance. </li></ul><p><b>Desirable Criteria: </b></p><ul><li>Substantial record of leadership and experience in schools with experience in Primary and Secondary schools an advantage. </li><li>Experience in internal auditing or willingness to complete short course training in conducting internal audits, which will be paid for by the school. </li><li>A strong track record in scholarship in teaching and learning and/or educational leadership. </li><li>Masters level of postgraduate study. </li></ul><p><b>To apply: </b></p><p>Please provide a cover letter addressing the selection criteria along with your resume and send directly to Joanne Godmon, Recruitment Partner at recruitment&#64;au.oneschoolglobal.com. </p><p>Applicants should nominate at least three (3) referees including their contact details, one of whom must be their current supervisor. </p><p>Applications close: 01st November 2021 at 5pm.
