St Aloysius College, North Melbourne is seeking to appoint a friendly, enthusiastic, and experienced School Nurse/First Aid Officer to commence in Term 1, 2022 to manage all first aid incidents of students and staff (including the management of students with additional medical needs) as well as incident record keeping. The position is on a part or full time basis for the appropriate candidate.

<p>St Aloysius College, North Melbourne, is a Catholic Secondary Girls&#39; College founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1887. All potential employees will be required to comply with the College&#39;s Child Safe policy and Code of Conduct. </p><p>We are seeking to appoint a friendly, enthusiastic, and experienced School Nurse/First Aid Officer to commence in Term 1, 2022 to manage all first aid incidents of students and staff (including the management of students with additional medical needs) as well as incident record keeping. The School Nurse/First Aid Officer will work collaboratively with students, teachers, wellbeing staff, the Deputy Principal, as well as with outside health care agencies.</p><p>The successful applicant will be able to provide a first aid service to ensure optimal health and wellbeing, allowing students to participate fully and actively in school life. </p><p><u>Experience/Certification in any of the following studies is considered essential:</u></p><p>• Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) (if they are medically endorsed)<br />• Minimum two years’ working as a primary health care nurse/school nurse/child health nurse in a clinical situation<br />• BLS/CPR certification<br />• Anaphylaxis training<br />• Current National Police Clearance and VIC Working with Children Check</p><p><u>Remuneration</u>:<br /></p><p>• The position is remunerated on a part or full time basis for the appropriate candidate. Salary will be negotiated according to experience.
