Learning Support Assistant is required at Maria Regina Catholic Primary School Avalon on a temporary part-time basis for the 2022 school year to work 1:1 with a specific child.

The Successful candidate will be suitably qualified and enjoy working in a dynamic and cohesive team.</p><p>This is a temporary part-time role for 12 months starting in January 2022 during which you will be required to work 4 days a fortnight. The days of work will be Monday and Tuesday and the hours will be 6 hours per day.</p><p><b>Specific Criteria </b></p><ul><li>Highly effective, skilled classroom practitioner committed to the ethos of the Catholic School</li><li>Compassionate, patient and flexible practitioner who has strong communication skills</li><li>Ability to collaborate with staff, parents and other professionals to implement point of need adjustments</li><li>Demonstrate understanding of the NCCD processes and procedures to support students with diverse learning needs</li><li>Experience working with a student with Cerebral Palsy and provide assistance with physical, cognitive and developmental needs</li><li>Experience caring for a child’s physical hygiene and daily feeding</li><li>If you require further details of the child’s specific needs and details of the day-to-day jobs please call the school principal for more information</li></ul><p><b>The Rewards </b></p><p>Be part of a passionate team committed to delivering authentic Catholic education with care and compassion.
