St John the Baptist Primary School, Maitland is seeking a permanent part time Canteen Supervisor to join the team in 2022. This position will work 12 hours per week over Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. St John the Baptist Primary School is a Catholic school catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. We look forward to sharing in your child’s educational journey. <p> Should have: <br>• Knowledge of Healthy Canteens strategies and Food Safety Standards <br>• Ability to provide a safe, nutritious and viable food service <br>• Ability to train and supervise volunteers and make rosters <br>• Experience in food service operations such as ordering, purchasing, stock control, storage and wastage <br>• Ability to efficiently manage financial activities like budgets, pricing costing and banking procedures <br>• Ability to work cooperatively with school executive, volunteers and relevant committees <br>• High level of communication and interpersonal skills in relating to students, parents and teachers The Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle is committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, preventing those in our care from suffering abuse or neglect.
