This is a 1.0 FTE / permanent position. The position consists of teaching English with the possibility of Newman Selective Education Facilitator. The successful applicant will be innovative and collaborative in their practice.</p><p>A commitment to the Catholic ethos and Salesian charism of the school is essential.  <br /></p><p>Requirements for this teaching position:</p><ul><li>NESA Registration</li><li>WWCC Clearance</li><li>Classification to teach in Sydney Catholic Schools</li><li>Degree in appropriate teacher education qualifications</li></ul><p>Desirable Criteria</p><ul><li>Post graduate studies in Gifted Education - Certificate of Gifted Education or Masters of Gifted Education or currently undertaking this study.</li><li>An ability to promote collaborative practices amongst staff.</li><li>Excellent organisation skills.</li><li>HSC Marking experience </li><li>Experience teaching Stage 6 English</li></ul>
