Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced teachers, with a passion for developing a love of HSIE, English and RE and learning in young people, for this full time temporary position at the College. </p><p><b>Essential Criteria:</b></p><ul><li>Demonstrable support and commitment to the mission, values and ethos of Catholic Education</li><li>Accreditation to teach Religious Education in the Archdiocese of Sydney</li><li>Demonstrable success as a classroom teacher, with experience across a range of HSIE, English and RE courses.</li><li>Successful experience in improving student literacy</li><li>Proven ability to implement high impact teaching strategies to improve literacy, numeracy and learning outcomes for every student</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate collaboration and quality relationships in working with others</li><li>Skilled and committed to working with students through a positive approach to behaviour management.</li><li>Ability to integrate ICT into their teaching</li></ul><p><b>Desirable Criteria:</b></p><ul><li>Practising Catholic </li><li>Demonstrated ability and willingness to lead and support a range of co-curricular events </li></ul>
