The King's School is seeking a Director of Wellbeing to drive the development and implementation of strategic and operational initiatives.

<ul><li>Permanent full time opportunity commencing Term 1, 2022 </li><li>North Parramatta Campus</li></ul><p><b>ABOUT THE ROLE </b></p><p>Reporting to the Director of Christian Development, the position of Director of Wellbeing will drive the development and implementation of strategic and operational initiatives and milestones to ensure the thriving of staff and students at The King’s School. </p><p>This role will provide leadership across multidisciplinary teams to deliver high quality wellbeing programs through an innovative, flexible, and collaborative approach that maximises and enhances student and staff wellbeing. </p><p><b>ABOUT YOU </b></p><p>The School values humility, honesty, respect, responsibility, integrity, compassion and excellence. As such, we see the importance of recruiting talent aligned with these values. </p><p>To be successful for this role you will have: </p><p>• A thorough understanding of contemporary research and practice in the development and application of pastoral and welfare management practices </p><p>• Knowledge of and ability to develop, apply, review and improve policies and practices relating to pastoral care, behaviour and welfare management </p><p>• The ability to work within a Christian framework. </p><p>• Demonstrable skill at building rapport and trust with stakeholders, and guide the development and wellbeing of students </p><p>• Well-developed leadership, people management, and supervisory skills gained within a management or senior advisory role in a School environment </p><p>• High level organisational and administrative skills, and the ability to implement programs and projects from conception to completion </p><p>• Previous experience and knowledge of budgetary processes </p><p>• Strict adherence to discretion and confidentiality </p><p>• Organised approach with excellent attention to detail </p><p>• Outstanding communication and relationship building skills </p><p><b>ABOUT US </b></p><p>The King’s School, Australia&#39;s oldest independent school, is a Christian community that seeks to make an outstanding impact for the good of society.
