Is a new P-Yr12 school located at Edmondson Park. It is the result of a partnership between the CEO Wollongong and EREA.

<p>St Francis Catholic College, Edmondson Park is located near the junction of the M5 and M7 motorways. It is a rapidly growing P-12 school with a student population exceeding 1200 students in 2022 (K-12). The college is one school, not a traditional primary school and high school coexisting on the same site. As such, the college is organised into Junior Years Learning (K-4), Middle Years Learning (5-8) and Senior Years Learning (9-12).</p> <p>A permanent full time position commencing 10 January 2022 (4 weeks annual leave per year).</p> <p>The role of the School Technology Support officer provides services including IT operations within the school. Broadly the role involves administration, support function representation, maintenance and improvements in the Computer and IT services within the school.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Supportive of the mission and purpose of Catholic Education.</li> <li>Ability to provide technical support, problem solve and troubleshoot&nbsp;hardware and software infrastructure to ensure continuity of service for staff and students.</li> <li>Proven ability to provide IT Helpdesk support over the telephone, in person and via remote access tools.</li> <li>Ability to represent the school in an honest, ethical and professional way.</li> <li>Knowledge and experience of Microsoft products, Google Workspace for Education, Mac OS, iOS, and Mobile Device Management (MDM).</li> <li>Ability to prioritise work.</li> </ul> <p>DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Familiarity with Compass systems.</li> <li>TAFE Certificate IV or equivalent.</li> <li>Experience supporting IT services within a school environment.</li> </ul> <p>GENERAL CAPABILITIES</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Excellent Customer service orientation.</li> <li>Well-developed oral and written communication skills.</li> <li>Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.</li> <li>Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.</li> <li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and display discretion.</li> </ul> <p>WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE</p> <p>This role is classified as a child related work and therefore a working with children clearance is required prior to your commencement with us.</p> <p>Applicants must be able to comply with any NSW&nbsp;Public&nbsp;Health&nbsp;Orders&nbsp;pertaining to Education that are in place as of the commencement date of this position.
