The Towards 2025 Strategy commits our system of schools to being at least as good as the very best, to maximise the learning growth of every student, and to inspire hearts and minds to know Christ and love learning. </p><p>Covering an expansive geographical area which includes the Central Coast and Sydney’s Northern Beaches and North Shore, Catholic Schools Broken Bay is a system serving 44 Catholic Schools with around 17,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 12. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>About the Role </b></p><p>This is a temporary PE teacher role 0.2 FTE (flexible with choice of days) to commence on 27 January 2022 until 27 January 2023 for Maria Regina, Avalon. </p><p>We are looking for highly skilled and passionate teacher to inspire, motivate and engage students. Working collaboratively with teachers at the school you will be responsible for implementing innovative and evidence informed practices that improve outcomes for all. Being prepared to grow and learn is an essential part of this role as we aim to ensure success for all our students. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>About You </b></p><ul><li>Have a good understanding of Physical Education programs for all ages and ability levels within our school </li><li>Highly effective, skilled classroom practitioner committed to the ethos of the Catholic School; </li><li>Excellent organisational skills to assist in the organisation of school sport carnivals and external providers to assist in PE lessons </li><li>Experience programming and teaching from the NESA Physical Education K-10 syllabus document. </li><li>Capacity to create a motivating and engaging learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of all learners through varied teaching strategies and sound pedagogical practices; </li><li>Ability to understand the individual needs of students to maximise learning opportunities; </li><li>Effective in managing and facilitating safe and supportive learning environments with an understanding of positive student welfare practices </li><li>Willingness to contribute to the broader extracurricular aspects of school life as an active member of the school community </li><li>Ability to monitor professional learning needs and align them to the learning needs of students </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic professional learning community. </li><li>Highly developed interpersonal and presentation skills able to communicate effectively and respectfully with students, colleagues, parents/carers and community members </li><li>In-depth knowledge of subjects and curriculum content within their sphere of responsibility</li></ul><p> </p><p>For further information, visit <a href="https://www.mradbb.catholic.edu.au/" rel="nofollow">https://www.mradbb.catholic.edu.au/</a> </p><p><br /></p><p><b>The Rewards </b></p><p>Be part of a passionate team committed to delivering authentic Catholic education with care and compassion.
