The Towards 2025 Strategy commits our system of schools to being at least as good as the very best, to maximise the learning growth of every student, and to inspire hearts and minds to know Christ and love learning. </p><p>Covering an expansive geographical area which includes the Central Coast and Sydney’s Northern Beaches and North Shore, Catholic Schools Broken Bay is a system serving 44 Catholic Schools with around 17,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 12.</p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p><b>About the Role </b></p><p>This is a temporary 0.6 FTE Learning Support Teacher role to commence on 27 January 2022 until 27 January 2023 for Corpus Christi Catholic School, St Ives.</p><p>We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate teacher to inspire, motivate and engage students. Working collaboratively with teachers at the school you will be responsible for implementing innovative and evidence informed practices that improve outcomes for all. Being prepared to grow and learn is an essential part of this role as we aim to ensure success for all our students.</p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p><b>About You </b></p><ul><li>Qualifications and/or experience in special or inclusive education and the ability to co-teach to support students with diverse learning needs is essential </li><li>A thorough understanding of the DDA and Disability Standards for Education and how to translate this into practice is essential, including collaborative planning, documentation maintenance, monitoring and review </li><li>The ability to liaise with families, student and teachers to provide a positive learning environment </li><li>Skills in adjusting tasks for students and familiarisation with various learning platforms to engage validated students in the learning process </li><li>Excellent time management and organisations skills </li><li>A willingness to purse training to increase competency in the Learning Support field </li></ul><p>For further information, visit <a href="https://www.ccsidbb.catholic.edu.au/" rel="nofollow">https://www.ccsidbb.catholic.edu.au/</a> </p><p><br /></p><p><b>The Rewards</b></p><p>Be part of a passionate team committed to delivering authentic Catholic education with care and compassion.
