<p>Holy Spirit Catholic College Lakemba is seeking a suitably qualified TAS teacher for an Industrial Technology Timber and Construction role. This is a permanent, full-time position to commence Term 1 2022. At Holy Spirit Catholic College Lakemba, our goal is to ensure that every student is equipped with the skills and knowledge for a life beyond school.</p><p><b>About you</b></p><p>As the TAS/Construction Teacher, you will have the relevant experience and qualifications to teach Industrial Technology Timber and Construction or the willingness to complete the relevant training required.</p><p><b>To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate proven experience and impact in:</b></p><ul><li>developing and understanding the requirements of the curriculum</li><li>utilising effective learning and teaching strategies and technologies </li><li>working collaboratively and effectively with students, staff and parents</li><li>empowering students to be independent and creative learners</li><li>demonstrating effective classroom management skills</li><li>communicating and organising to ensure that reporting deadlines are met</li><li>a commitment to the Catholic ethos.</li></ul><p><b>You will have attained:</b></p><ul><li>a Tertiary qualification in Education</li><li>eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)</li><li>Employee ID registration number with Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) or a commitment to Register to Teach in SCS.</li></ul>
