<ul><li>Administrative assistance for a thriving Performing Arts department</li><li>Work in a supportive school environment</li><li>Situatuated on the gorgeous Redcliffe Peninsula (Moreton Bay) with a lifestyle that is well suited for work, living and play.</li></ul><p><b>About Our School</b></p><p>Grace Lutheran Primary School is a great little stand-alone primary school on the Redcliffe Peninsula.  We are well established school who is celebrating our 50th anniversary this year.  Our school is co-educational and is owned and operated by the Lutheran Church of Australia (Queensland District).  We are open to persons who support the philosophy of the school, without discrimination as to class, race or belief.  </p><p>Engage, Educate, Excite drives everything that we do.  We are well known for our supportive caring community and our thriving Performing Arts department.  We believe that little people can achieve great things.  We set high standards, provide quality instruction and coaching, and then let our students shine.<br /></p><p>Our Performing Arts department provides co-curricular opportunities for dance (across many genres), instrumental, speech and drama, choirs and ensembles.  There are many events within the Performing Arts calendar that allow for students to perform and shine.  <br /></p><p>Grace Primary has beautiful modern facilities and is a well established and resourced school of around 400 students (P-6).  We have a strong relationship with Grace Lutheran College, Rothwell (Yrs 7-12).<br /></p><p><b>About the Role</b><br /></p><p>We are seeking an organised, highly personable and dynamic assistant to support the Director of Performing Arts and Performing Arts programs.  </p><p>The role is for 15 hours a week during term time (not required to work during school holidays).  The role includes administrative tasks, support for Performing Arts events (including concerts, eisteddfods and musicals), managing co-curricular enrolements, some class support and students supervision for co-curricular activities.<br /></p><p><b>Experience</b><br /></p><p>Administration or teacher aide experience will be advantageous.</p><p>The role could also provide the oppotunity to connect your love of Performing Arts and organisation.<br /></p><p><b>How to Apply</b><br /></p><p>To apply for the position, please forward your resume with a cover letter to careers&#64;</p><p>Applications need to be received on or before Sunday 31 October.<br /></p>
